(no subject)
I'm actually tired and it's only midnight!!! This is grand. So I'm gonna go to bed pretty early, I reckon.
I'm so stuffed. Tonight Becky and I drove up to Great Barrington for some Thai food (post-birthday celebration for me). It was great food, and the restaurant is decorated in a really interesting manner. Veggie fried rice was had by me. Then we went on a very brief walk. We checked a record store that sometimes is open very late, but no luck. Then we went to an ice cream shop, and figured the weather wasn't cold enough for us so we'd have some ice cream.
On the drive home we took the Falls Village route because Becky wanted to show me the veterinary hospital where she interns. So we drove past, and as we continued on our way we passed a house fire. There were sparks shooting out the chimney, and there was a fireman walking out the front door with smoke coming after him. As we continued, we drove past and pulled over for 4 fire engines. It was scary. I wonder if we'll read about it in the papers tomorrow.
When we got back here Steffen and Kati showed us a slide show on their laptop of the pictures from their world tour. Becky stayed to watch and for some chocolate cake, hehe, pet Becky.
