Isomorpheus Productions out of New Orleans is putting together a
weekend long event of burlesque, vaudeville, sideshow and oddities and
fascinations including acts from Guerrilla Areal, The Mezmer society,
The Helblinki Sextet, The Extraordinary Contraptions, and many many
more! It's being touted as a nod to Big Top Magazine, and as a
Steampunk Circus. The event will be held at the Spring 4th center,
newly refurbished, and fancy with it's new duds, this event is going
to be one not to be missed. Besides the performances by some of the
best rag-tag-and bag fun time travelers and locals you will also have
access to workshops and day classes in dance, writing and performance
skills. The event lasts from Thursday, July 23rd to July 26th. Proper goth/ steampunk attire is encouraged, and will get you a discount at the door for most of the evening events.
If you are tired of the typical club night or show, this is the event for you!!! its filled with quirk and fun, and guaranteed to show you something you have never seen before!
