Surprised how it managed to feel so tonally different from the Comic, given how closely it followed events of Moore's story (until the end, obviously)

Easily one of the most disappointing movies of the year, but I'll give it a 4 just to be nice.

Close enough adaptation to the comic, but Snyder's usual indulgences get in the way of my total enjoyment. Overly long action sequences replete with slow motion and the longest most unnecessary sex scene I've ever seen in a film (and I've watched plenty of erotic films [I don't mean porn], so it's not like I take issue w/the sex). A few clever music choices, but mostly groan-worthy awful. Changed the ending. Hated the characterization of Viedt.
I give it a 6 mainly because it was watchable and did convey the basic gist of why it was such an important and interesting work.
