May be leaving the Country - earlier than planned
Right when we thought that Claudia's mom was getting better - she's received word that she may be taking turn for the worse...So we're bumping up our plans (wont' be going to Singapore) and flying out this weekend.
I'm trying to get stuff done so we can pack, since we're not shipping stuff out there - we're gonna get two 18x18 boxes and check them in during our flight.
More than likely I'll fly out Late Thursday or Friday night and return the day after Easter (April 5th) - I don't know if Claudia's flying back with me or staying for additional two weeks. (I think she's flying back with me). So it won't be a vacation by all means, it'll be her chance to say good-bye to her biological mother (she was raised by her aunt).
I will be bringing a laptop with me - although depending on where we'll be staying - how regular internet access will be. They're going to wait for us and several other family members to arrive before making the decision whether to move her mom from Manila City to the Province or keep here there. (Most of the family's in the province and it's cheaper there, but quality of medical care won't be as good: access to state of the art medical equipment, etc)
I will be there for Easter, they usually have family reunions that day, so and I know there are family members that have been anxious to meet me (they're aware that I'm a girl and we're married).
So I'll have more details tonight...Claudia has to talk to her Director about how much time she can take off, and then we can get our plane tickets.
