Waiting for the computer cord. Waiting waiting waiting. Currently in the computer lab. I have a feeling I'll be making good friends with the computer lab this week. I've already done an online quiz for chem, checked my nutrition #3 exam grade (er.), and registered for spring classes! Huzzah!
The registering bit was soo much fun. Not. I was golden until I realized that the gender studies/women's studies class I was going to sign up for was only 1 credit. Not good. So after a literal hour and a half of searching, I found a moderately interesting elective that fit in with my schedule and that had a professor that ratemyprofessors.com didn't say was a total jerk. It's a philosophy class called "Killing and Letting Die," and besides sounding like an ethics class based off of Death Note, it does sound rather interesting. I'm hoping it actually is ^^; So I've got that, Japanese 106, Japanese Calligraphy, Chem 104, Calc II, and Food Science Seminar, for a whopping 18 credits. Whoo?
The power went out in the entire East Campus last night. While I was playing Kingdom Hearts. I WAS NOT AMUSED. Luckily I wasn't doing anything all that important, but I'm unsure of the items I got that weren't saved. Grr. I was however amused that people started streaming into the hallways after it happened because of the lack of anything to do in their rooms with no electricity. Lol. I would have been reading, but it was rather late, and without my KH I figured I should go to bed. So I did. Yay.
And Things. I am sick. I actually felt like hell this morning and was seriously considering skipping class, but it turns out that would have been a bad idea, so I'm glad I didn't.
Also there's this Food Science holiday dinner on Dec 5th (because there are only like...24 of us) during which there will be a pseudo Iron Chef competition!! Whoo! My mentor Andrea and I are entering together. We have to make a dessert containing chocolate, raspberry, and mint (my favorite combination, OMG!). I already have an interesting idea. We'll be brainstorming together about it later tonight. I'm quite excited about this ^^
Okay, I have nothing much else to write about, and I should go eat dinner or something. Crossing my fingers for a speedy power cable delivery. And maybe I'll talk to you kids later. Peace.
