I Found out about the Crimea, 2 years ago at CMJ (college Music Journal) in New York. IT was pretty nice. Got to seem them in small venues upclose. Saw them again in Chicago (that's where I live) when they opened for Billy Corgan. They need to come out on their own, Chicago has awesome venues where they would do well.

heard some talk about a US tour around feb/march this year to support the album that was supposed to be out by now. neither have happened as yet, but I'm thinking once they're done touring here they could go over there for the summer, then maybe back to uk for festivals and oz for autumn. saw a rumour about a coachella appearance, that's in the US ain't it? yeah, late april, could be there around then then. err... yeah...

It's ace to have such a jet-setting international community - the Crimea are bringing people together from all over the world! There seems to be a really good following in America (heaven knows they have a good time playing over there - you should see some of the scrotty toilets of venues on the gig circuit in the UK), plus you have a way cooler version of the album with extra tracks! x

I have indeed; I managed to get the US version of the album for way cheaper than the UK one.. is that a you'd like them? or, more likely, a you're offering them to me?
So exciting to finally have the original recording of the album too, hurrah! x
