...I am sorry that Jeff is feeling weak...I feel like it's a time period when a lot of people feel physically and emotionally a bit tired, so maybe it's adding to his perceptions of his difficulties, and you're gith that it will pass...I hope he can have less resistsnace to his experience, and just watch what happens, and then he'll get all sorts of insights into what might be helpful, and what scares himand all...I'm glad you both have the animals for company, and I'm glad your new little buddy looks so cheerful after just a short time!

Oh my gosh! What an amazing transformation in the little angel's face. This makes my heart sing.... it wasn't just the bath and a haircut, but the touch of love and compassion.

I'm sorry to hear that Jeff is having such a frustrating time. Yea, it's going to feel like a very long road for the poor guy and the depression and fear is the hardest part to deal with. Unfortunately it's also the part that the medico doesn't address when they send people home to fend for themselves. The animals will surely be his best medicine right now.
