Frustration
I've started to get frustrated with some of my paintings not coming out the way I envisioned and, also, not selling any. I guess that's bound to happen when you try to stretch yourself and try new techniques. I'm trying to be patient and not concerned with sales, but it would be a real ego kick to sell something. It's not all bad though, I've had some good results with a drippy background and even tried to use some rubbing alcohol on the backgrounds.

I decided to look around for some inspiration and found some on Rick Koob's site, The Perpetual Art Student. He's very enthusiatic and cheered me up emensely, plus his paintings are lovely. Check out his site at:
