I am getting my wisdom teeth taken out today at 10:10. Sounds like a good time to me. I am actually surprise how dismissive i am being about it. Although it sucks that i am going to be puffy cheeked and sore, i dont really mind. Maybe that is just the groginess of morning talking.
I think technology is amazing. As said in my last post, I am afraid of needles. Well, as you also know, you must have an I.V. machine in you while this surgery takes place. Which i have no fear at all about now because they gave me this cream stuff that i am supposed to put on an hour before i go in and it completely numbs the area where the I.V. goes in so i wont feel it at all. How awesome is that! They need to put that in other places like Blood donation places, doctor offices, etc.
In school news....I have a really hard essay to write asking me to compare the portrayals of two different accounts of The Sirens. One is an account by Odysseus, and the other is a poem about the Sirens. I then have to discuss the tone, Point of view, and poetic devices of each. Ive been working on it for two days, and i am completely braindead on this one. If anyone has done their essay and can help me out that would be amazing. As for right now, Im hoping that some of the drugs they give me today will spur some sort of jumbled inspiration and maybe i will get this essay done.
I hope everyone has a great Easter, and tell the Easter bunny i say hi! Oh, and don't forget the real reason we have Easter. It is to celebrate Jesus raising from the dead after three days and ascending into Heaven. What a great Lord he is! Goodbye.
