(no subject)
Oh man...
so I had my first "buisness" trip. I was in detroit for a few days last week. not a lot of fun. didnt' get listened too although as of the last score check, I was right, they were wrong, a fuck load of money burned up thanks to them not trusting the new guy. I felt better today after we finally put every thing together and finished the puzzle. SO, I still have a jobbie. the downside is that I leave for detroit again tomorrow on a 6 am flight. to spend what may be a long time looking over someone elses shoulder. and the hard part is yet to come. not very exciting work either. But when it turns on at full blast, it make noise at more than 117 dB. that can cause permanent hearing damage. kick ass. ear plugs are the minimum I need this week.
In the mean time, I've been reading Eragon. tis a fun little book. Like Harry Potter, Lord of the Rings and a dash of Star Wars. I'm going to pick up the next in the series "Eldest" sometime soon. My luck will be when I'm stuck in an airport because my flight is 17 hours late. that way I can spend twice as much money on it. YAY. Actually I'll prolly hit up target tonight and look there and just pack the second book.
Pappy was supposed to come visit me, but detroit seems to have a problem with that. I feel really bad, and I was really looking foward to it, but it may have to be postponed again. stupid government contracts.
oh well. I need a haircut and S is sick tonight, so blah. it figures.
