Oh, hello.
Sometimes I forget to tell you things.
Last Monday, I started sitting an 8-month-old boy in Oberlin. His name is Miles and he is very funny and likes silly noises and faces. I'm only there on Mondays and Fridays (and maybe sometimes on Saturday mornings), so it's nice to have time to work on other stuff.
I submitted my first grad school packet on Sunday night. Only 19 more packets to go until I get my degree!
Oh, and I discovered on the second day there that Miles can see my dad, and lemme tell you, Dad cracks him up. You can imagine that until I sensed Dad's being there, I was pretty confused by Miles having a very one-sided (yet responsive) interaction with a wall. It's nice to know that some day my kids will be perpetually-amused.
I think that if he's not teething too badly (therefore pleasant) on Friday, I might take Miles to the Allen Art Museum. I'm teaching him colors.
