At the Fine Arts Festival, I came upon a second grader's piece of art that had me instantly enamoured. When I was helping clean up, I pointed to it and announced that it was my absolute favorite piece in the entire show. The elementary school art teacher happened to be standing there (I didn't know who she was), and heard me and said that if I'd like, she'd talk to the student and see if he'd be willing to sell it. Of course, I was interested in buying it, and told her to let him know that a "real, live college art student" wanted it.

I have just received word that Christopher and his mother are willing to part with the piece for twenty dollars! Hurray!

When I have the piece in my possession, I will post a picture of it so that you may all marvel at its extreme badassness.
