A Moment for Success Kid

Disclaimer:  I still don't like babies, but I like established memes.

So I was able to something today in Mathematica that I probably couldn't have done in Python.  Each time I use it, it's a little less scary, and through a combination of stealing code and putting the time in to figure out my errors (which Mathematica is not helpful about) I'm making decent progress.

Of course the scary thing is that when I have a full teaching load when I come back, I'm not going to be able to say "let's spend the next five hours trying to do this in Mathematica" cause I'll have a full teaching load.  At least I'm making some progress right now. [1]

So I've been able not only to make all the clarifications I needed to the sequences in the OEIS, but to submit some new sequences with more clear definitions.  Of course, this might not look to clear to an editor there.  In fact, I imagine they might say, "My goodness, this idiot just submitted corrections to 12 sequences and now he expects us to allow him more entries?  Let us ban this man for life."
We will see what happens.  I'm rather scared, but hey.

Also, been listening to Steve Martin's band all day while doing this.  Rare Bird Alert is a great album.  I almost forgive Steve Martin for not singing on every song.  Almost.

[1] I'm making myself feel a little better by telling myself I might get hit by a bus before then, so I should enjoy my unlimited hours per day for research, now.  (Extra disclaimer: Number of hours in day not actually unlimited.)
