For anyone interested, here's my schedule for the Spring '09 semester:
History & Literature of the Old Testament
MW, 12:00-12:50
History of Film
MW, 3:30-4:45; M, 5:00-7:00
Physical Geography
TTh, 12:30-1:45
Solving Literary Problems
TTh, 3:30-4:45
Principles of Film & Media
T, 6:00-9:00
I'm on the waitlist for History of Film, but as I'm second on the list, I think I'll get it. If I don't, I'll be taking Introduction to Family Studies, which meets at the same times minus the 5:00-7:00 slot on Mondays.
In news that's a little further on the horizon, my plans for this summer are to find an apartment in Towson and take classes. I've been assured by my parents that I'll have a car, and supposedly a halfway decent one (in comparison to the junker that is Johanna) as they want me to have something reliable while I'm that far away. Don't know when I'll find out where I'll be living, but I'll sign up for classes on the 9th of March.
Don't know what I'll be doing for spring break yet (probably some kind of road trip to Florida, using my house as a springboard for elsewhere in the state), but Sarah and her cousin are making arrangements for a beach house a couple weeks this summer in Ocean City, so hopefully my schedule will allow for a good amount of time there, and weekends at the very least. We'll see if I don't wind up with some kind of s***ty job that keeps me from it.
As far as plans for a bit sooner go, I fly back to Maryland on the 24th. Hopefully the 1st of February will be spent watching the Ravens play in the Super Bowl (fingers crossed), and then on the 8th Sarah and I are talking about taking a trip down to DC. She's never been to any of the museums there before, so I'm going to take her to the National Museum of American History and the National Gallery of Art, and then probably out to dinner. And then I'm sure we'll come up with some kind of cute plans for Valentine's Day.
That's about the extent of what's on my calendar, but I'm sure things will start to stack up once I'm back at school.
Here's to a new year. For the first time I feel like I've got a good start.
