Public Thanks, Day 5 of the one long day
matociquala was a kind and generous human being with her time today...her assistance was critical in making Teeha's follow-up vet visit something less than a disaster to coordinate.
Fortunately, the followup determined that at least Teeha is improving appropriately for her current condition and care. Meanwhile, after a small scare this morning regarding temperature, all seven are still alive and apparently thriving.
K. is rightly upset about many aspects of this litter, and how difficult it has been for the mom. Note to self, trust her instincts on those types of nebulous concerns.
They still look like little caterpillars but the scale is totally different. We weighed them yesterday and several have gained 8 ounces in 5 days -- that is actually a little too much. Thankfully they are lasting 4-5 hours between feedings now, but eating more.
