Puppies!

Lesson learned: Briards are stealth puppy carriers. We had this experience before but not to this extreme.
Did every diagnostic available for predicting size of litter. Depending on how you count (9 puppies arrived, one did not make it as he was the one caught in the birth canal that precipitated the emergency c-section) we had between 2-4 puppies more than every estimate. With one of those estimates being one I was afraid to share giving the veterinary adamence that there was 5 maybe 6.
Both mom & pups needed full time supervision. This is my shift.
