Going away for the long weekend
This is the first long weekend of the "summer", cottage time! Was up late last night chatting to late and up way to early packing (like I should have been last night) The hallway is full of bedding, food, towels, water and clothes. (This reminds me I haven't grabbed CD's). Unfortunately, they are calling for nothing but rain all weekend. There is a lawn to be cleared or winter kill, a boat to be prep'd and a cottage to be cleaned to kick off the season. With any luck the first official Orillia summer beer cap will be cracked by 3:00 p.m. To my fellow canadian cottager enjoy your weekend too!
On a side note this is a little sad and hard leaving still no sign of Charlie. At this point I know I can't just sit around and wait. 11 days and counting starting to not look very good. *crosses fingers* maybe she will be waiting on the doorstep when I return
