I don't have near the conveniences I did in Lombard, but I odn't have to deal with things like obscenely priced EVERYTHING. I dunno. Hmm.. recharge life battery... burned out...
Nope, that doesn't happen here. Unfortunately, if there were people that had to work 24 hour shifts or until death (read: peruvian or egyptian slaves) - if there were people that studied day and night and never did anything but learn, if there were people that gave up their life for a cause, a belief, a reason - if there were people that suffered through life and gave up everything that made them comfortable -
just to live;
That's the only thing I need to know to keep myself going. I will succeed. And if my will fails, I die.
- Matt, you're one of the smarter kids I met in the past - or in any case, you were the one I could always received kindness from, regardless of what high water came around - even when you needed a hand.
I'm keeping track, if you're not doing something in 1 semester I'm going to come around and smack you around pretty hard. It's gonna hurt both of us, but you're one of those people I won't 'leave behind.'
Who the hell wants to have a reunion and be the only one driving a Lexus or a Mercedes? While others are living at the house their parents left them with a car just as old? I already lost Jimmy....
No one wants that of people they know, and (although) you have plans - yes...
but so much happens in life... and laying down on a bed is the most comfortable thing in the world... closing your eyes and just not wanting to wake up... some day we don't have too and we can lay in the grass like kids, and just stare at the clouds and get lost in eternity...
BUT... you're still young >:)
