trial of Jesus
Attended a lecture by distinguished speaker prof weiler this evening. Interesting thesis but I disagree with some of the premise. Many things to think about and scripture to pour over. Learnt many new things too.
It was also interesting to see many distinguished people in the fraternity attend and sit through some of the intense theological / legal discourse. Whether it was to be seen, out of obligation or real interest.
I can't wait for his book to be out to consider what he's saying with lesser chance of hearing / understanding him wrong. But some of the things he said left question marks and exclamation marks on my paper. Much food for thought indeed. I do hope with certainty that God will use even his (flawed) words for the expansion of His kingdom.
