in other news, some are proposing to raise the minimum age for smoking to 21 to deter young men from lighting up during NS.

i think it's not a bad idea seeing that some friends who mixed around in company who smoke in school don't smoke until they go to NS (for some strange reason) but then again there are friends who smoke in school even before they go NS so what's the difference.

the min age for smoking "law" is similar to the drinking / clubbing (is this actually about legality or marketing?) / sex / homosexuality (not about min age but the idea is similar) laws. they are there but are they really enforced?
