My show week started last Thursday. I'd never been to the Lava Lounge before and save for the fact that it's located in a dinky strip mall, the whole tiki ambience of the club itself was pretty darn cool. Addison, The Fictions and Satisfaction all under one roof. I almost could not contain my excitement. All three bands played very well, however the sound system and acoustics sucked ass. Satisfaction cut their set short because they "just weren't feeling it".

Saturday night was Sloan, Sloan, Sloan! The lovely Monique was gracious enough to give me a ride to Spaceland.
