It is five thirty a.m. and I’ve been up since four. I can’t tell anymore if it’s the Abilify or if it’s that I’m excited to be finally working with Pete again. A Marketing Consultant. I wanted a title, and luckily he awarded me with one, but of course not without a lot of work. I doubt my ability to figure out the google adwords classes and program, but slowly but surely I’ve started plugging away.
Costs per click. Click through rate. CPM. Cost per thousand imprs. It’s another language seeping under the subway of internet business. Down with the rats eating crumbs off the Big Cookies, we’re all dying at a bit for bite. Their service is our slogan and our slogan is their money. A constant rush of people step on and off the platform while only a handful stop to really look closely. Closer. Close enough to see the bite for a bit.
It’s fascinating how many people do google adwords. How do they really get paid? It’s all such a joke hopping on the bandwagon of fancy titles and compressed words. CPCs. CPMs. ROIs. CTRs. Squished into manageable catagories and numbered by the order they see fit. It’s bullshitting 101. I love it.
