dave update.
so dave didn't show up last night to play, but i got up and sang - it was awesome! it was too bad he didn't come because I was amazing and wearing a hot mini skirt. but i got to thinking that maybe he was avoiding me because he did like the ex after all. so i called him and left a message just saying "i hope everything is ok and that i didn't freak you out with my email, i'm ok with being friends if that's what you want."
he called this morning at 10am and left a message with no real content, other than to say he would try me again a little later. He called at noon and I answered - oh my gosh what a relief! he is not interested in the ex anymore, he just wants to make amends and be friends with her - which I am totally cool with. In fact, he shows a lot of maturity and caring all of the time. he also told me, in a nutshell, how great he thinks i am and how glad he is that we are hanging out doing whatever it is that we are doing. so yeah, i'm being patient, but it's nice to know where i stand a little bit.
