sittin at work

Is sitting at work better than sitting in traffic? I'm not really sure. I went and got ice cream and root beer for the people that are left here. It's totally dead.

I just found out that one of my best friends - Allison in NYC - is currently dating a famous Broadway actor. Dinners with Matthew Broderick & Nathan Lane, drinks with Steven Sondheim & Lilly Lupone. Her life must suck. We all knew that she was the golden one who would end up famous, and here it is. On their first date, paparazzi was taking shots of her and people were coming to their table to get his autograph. I'm proud of her though, she didn't look him up online on purpose so that they could be on somewhat level ground. She heard all about him from his own mouth. She is totally in love with him and thinks she might marry him. I hope he's as good as she says because if he's not then he better have a really serious army of big black men to keep me from killing him if he hurts her. I should have mentioned that *he pursued her* - she didn't even give him her last name or number until he asked for it. I could take a friggin lesson.

I have to go home and do laundry because I am about to sit in traffic for many hours, eat too much, and then do it all again. We're going up to the parents house in LaConner and I heard the weather isn't so good = fog.

I hate thanksgiving traffic. boo.

I'm in a stall about T. I am really hoping that he doesn't have a girlfriend he didn't mention, and that he still likes me. I surely like him. sigh.

It will be nice to get a little break from PDX, and then I'll be back in time for Stef's party! whoo hoo! I'm still going to try and get T. to come so you can all meet him. Don't count on it though, there's a better chance that I'll just go over there afterward. :)
