i feel like it's been quite a long time since i've actually been able to update.
nothing new has been going on except that i will be accompanying Nick (along with me mum) to Rome, Georgia to his Lacrosse Championship all weekend. he's very excited, so am i! it's hard not to be excited for someone who every time you mention the fact that his team is going to championships he grins, giggles, then kisses you. Every time you mention it.
I've made it a part of me daily routine.
And the lovely Katie Meyer wanted me to tell everyone about my birthday event.
I will keep it short because Nick, mum and i are about to watch a movie (young frankenstein).
Well me birthday was last friday and as most of you know i do most of the cooking in my house (me mum does too). What I mean to say is that, Nick doesn't ever cook.
When I got home from school, for some reason Nick had left early, I walked into the house and it smelled delicious. Mum heard me shut the door behind me and he ran into the front hall and shooed me out the front door. Later Nick came out to join me and we went on a lovely walk through the "woods" near my house. When we got back into the house he told me to stay in my room or else he'd have to put me in "time out".
(time out didn't seem too bad if Nick was going to have to keep me there...but that is beside the point)
So I stayed in my room, until me mum came to get me. She said she was leaving and that it was alright for me to go down and sit at the table.
The table was set for two. there were candles, flowers, even a salad fork! Nick had made me dinner.
He came out in his amazing faded blue jeans, a blue tee (that made is eyes look amazing), and a towel hanging over his shoulder. It was possibly the hottest thing ever.
Wow that is so gay of me to remember exactly what he was wearing.
He cooked Chicken Marsala with mushrooms on the side and noodles. It was outstanding. Not to mention the excellent Sauvignon Blanc he served with it (mum must have helped him with that one).
But it was probably my favorite night of my entire life.
surely there will be more nights like that ahead. :)
