The process: I write - revise - reread - walk away for days, maybe a week - come back to reread - clip the dead branches - I write - the finished feeling creeps up - I reread again - if the feeling is the same - I post - if not - start from step 1. Always great to see an update!

Although he might not be ready to deal with it himself, I think Brian might secretly be hoping Justin will find a way to dig deep enough to bring the "gym teacher" memory to the surface. He seems to have it all planned out.

Ha! Love Justin's comment as they left the store... "indelible beauty I radiate," LOL!

Thanks for your feedback, as always. The weird thing was I've had that first section about Tom written in my head for years. The next part didn't even appear until I'd physically typed the bonfire story. I had no idea that was coming from Brian. He deserves his #meToo moment as well, I guess. xoox
