The Pavillon des Jardins puts Parkside to shame in terms of international-ness (even if Parkside puts it to shame in just about every other imaginable way . . .). Here's the official head-count on my floor, plus a few people who are honorary floor members because they hang out here so much (I just got a .pdf of the list from an ambitious floormate which even has all of our pictures!)

France - 5
India - 4
Italy - 3
Germany - 3
Romania - 2
Tunisia - 2
Syria - 2
United States - 2 (the other American is one of the 'honoraries')
Vietnam - 2
Chile - 2
Lebanon - 1
Bulgaria - 1
Cameroun - 1
Australia - 1
Moldova - 1
China - 1
Spain - 1
Argentina - 1
Uraguay - 1
Brazil - 1

I guess the most amazing thing to me about this is that since most of these people are graduate students (I'm the youngest on the list), they all have to have a good grounding in English to stay abreast of current research. For most of them, considering that they have to speak French to study here and they have to speak their native language, that leaves a majority of them (at least) trilingual. Damn!!
