Triumphant Return

So, this is my first journal entry in over 3 years... damn it has been a long time! I was just sitting here this extremely early friday morning bored yet not tired, and decided to shoot on over to live journal to see if maybe my account was still active; and to my great surprise it was! As I read through my old post's it brought back many fond memories of Tallahassee and the good ol' times as I am no longer a resident of the great city of Tallahassee. Anyways I figured 'what the hell!', might as well get this whole journal thing back going seeing as my life is about to change dramatically and this journal seems like an excellent way to document it. For those of you who are not aware yet, Tuesday evening I concluded MEPS (Military Entrance Processing Station) by being sworn in to the United States Navy. On Wednesday, August 6th I will ship out to Great Lakes, Illinois to begin basic training. Upon successful completion basic training, I will depart once again to one of six locations in the U.S. to begin A school where I will be taught how to become a competent aviation machinists mate. That is where I stand as of right now, I'm looking forward to my future, while being sure to relish the moment and enjoy my family and friends company before I depart. I will try my best to keep these journal updates as frequent as possible through the coming months (even though I prob. will not have access during basic) to document this journey I'm about to begin; so that another three years from now, I can log on as I did tonight and look back on so many fond memories.
