Four! Four things! ah-ah-ah
1) That sleeping dragon v-gift that keeps on being advertised on the homepage is freaking me out because it reminds me of a duck fetus (and I know what one looks like, thanks to the amazing culinary adventures of one Kris Allen)
2) I am excited for fall tv! I cannot remember the last time I had time to sit down and watch more than one or two shows regularly. The hidden upside to unemployment? So far I know I'm watching Community (current show of my heart), Bones, Hellcats (I blame Bring It On for my love of bitchy cheerleaders), Supernatural, Glee, Top Chef: Just Desserts, maaaybe Boardwalk Empire, maaaybe Chuck, maaaybe How I Met Your Mother. And likely whatever new quirky show USA puts out that will be undoubtedly formulaic and yet I will love it like I do every other USA show (well, except Royal Pains. And Covert Affairs. Covert Affairs is on notice until it solves its Side Characters Are Much More Interesting Than the Main Character problem.)
3) Speaking of Community, I got around to finish watching all the episodes I downloaded earlier in the year, and apparently all my life has been missing is Troy and Abed singing "Somewhere Out There" from An American Tail:

And in non-numbered news, my ability to start out strong at a project or goal and then either completely give up or cock it up by the end (see law school, my last job, most writing contests or challenges, piano, Couch to 5k, and pretty much all of my interactions with other human beings ever) is still flourishing. Nice some things in life are consistent. I did submit a short story today for a contest, so we'll see, we'll see.
