Like a Lisa Frank Store Exploded

omg, I'm actually talking about tv shows that aired tonight. TV SHOWS THAT DO NOT INVOLVE AMERICAN IDOL OR REFERENCE KRIS ALLEN.

Contain your shock.

Up first, wavy hands me back to 2006 because I'm bringing back an abbreviated Project Runway Roundup.

I have been watching this season solely for Anthony and Seth Aaron, and was not a huge fan of most of the other designers, personality wise. One of them looked like Danny Gokey* and another used to be Jack Sparrow at Disney and it was all very weird and then my lovely discussion posts on _discuss ended a sad and painful death and yes.

But I watched tonight!

TO THE BULLET POINTS.

FIRST, WE HAVE A ~TWIST. IS ANYONE SURPRISED? NO? OKAY MOVING ON. ALSO, THE TOP 10 ALL CREATED A LINE FOR FASHION WEEK AND ALL GOT TO SHOW, BECAUSE IT WAS LIKE IN FEBRUARY, AND IT HAPPENS EVERY YEAR THAT THEY HAVE A FEW EXTRA DESIGNERS MAKE A COLLECTION, SO I DON'T REALLY KNOW WHY WE GO THROUGH THIS CHARADE EVERY SEASON.

+Anthony: I wish you were a much better designer, because I adore you and yet do not adore the majority of what you create. It was so boring, bb. But the judges can suck an egg for being all hoity toity** about the fabric. And fu also to the other designers for making him cry, ilu Anthony even if I do not always love what you make. It also sucks that Anthony was really the only one cut tonight.

+Emilio: Loved the bust on this, loved it. Not so keen on the long train, but the polka dots were just fantastic as an accent. I liked most of what he has made this season, and he totally deserves to go to Fashion Week. Also that was cute when he had a mini-pillow fight with Seth Aaron at the end. I am swayed easily by these things, okay?

+Seth Aaron: You are so fucking stereotypical quirky rock and roll and yet I love almost every last stitch of what you put out. The black and white with the the sleeves and the colors aaaaaah. I even liked the collar. But the pants did have crazy crotch, I will give you that, Michael Kors. Also -1 for not choosing Anthony to go with you fashion week, when you have had sort of adorable friends-like interactions all season. Damn you editors! But I am excited to see what he puts out for Fashion Week.

+Mila: I loved Mila's design. As anyone who follows my twitter knows, I have am having an early childhood neon renaissance and I thought how that jacket was constructed was beautiful. But Mila you have made me say this reluctantly. You remind me the villainous mistress of an all-girls boarding school. One of the ones that featured an adorable upstart heroine trying to thwart you with water balloons and chewing gum. I have no idea where I am going with this so I will stop, but you all know what I mean, you know. I am not looking forward to her ~walk-off~ with Jay though. I fear her collection will be all too much of the same.

+Jay It was okay. It wasn't great. I liked the pants, did not like the jacket. It was just there, sry2say Jay. golf clap.

+Tim Gunn: You are not a contestant, but you are why I watch this show, and I only wish I could have a miniature Tim Gunn to carry around with me in my pocket and give me advice all day long, except not on my fashion, because I have terrible taste, which would maybe defeat the purpose of a miniature pocket Tim Gunn.

In conclusion: I love Tim Gunn, I miss his podcasts, and I am most excited to see what Emilio puts out for Fashion Week. I haven't seen the collection pictures yet though, bbs, so no spoilers.
