I had a nice long, and thought-out post typed up about McCain's Latest Move and how I think the debates should go on (and how unlikely it is that the economic problems of this country can be solved before election day, plus, I doubt the financial crisis bill is going to make it before the floor before Friday), and then the Bag of Crap came up over on woot.com and I closed the post to go try and get it.
Naturally, the servers were imploding under the strain of hundreds of sleep-deprived wooters who had been waiting for the BOC for two days (er...me included) so while I made it to the credit card page my order never processed before all 4000 were sold out. (SO CLOSE. AGAIN.)
And then I found out the American Constitution Society wine shindig I was going to at Beggar's was cancelled tonight.
And then I went over to GODT to see if there was any new Verbotene Liebe and found out we don't get anymore Christian/Olli storylines for weeks. (There will still be Judith, so I'll still watch if subtitles are made, but I'm sadfacing)*
No BOC. No debate post. No free wine. No cute German boys. And Garnier stopped making my favorite hair conditioner.
I think I'm just going to go to bed.

**I had a dream about a dinner party last night where everyone was speaking German, including me. Which is extremely interesting, considering I don't speak German. I have no idea what sort of nonsense my brain was actually producing that dream-me considered the German language, but I blame the fact that I re-watched the entire Christian/Olli saga*** in one sitting yesterday, including the beginning parts before Coco left I hadn't seen.
