i can't type very well right now because i am missing the action of my right middle and ring fingers, and am hopped up (perhaps that should be hopped down?) on pain killers

Accidents happen to everyone. Don't beat yourself up too much for it. But it's good to look at it in the forward-looking light of "I should be more careful," as opposed to the backward-looking "I goofed up."

All will be back to normal soon, though. Hands are resilient little buggers.
