hi guys,
(if this post isn't OK just delete it...)

i'm looking for you to help other college students. i'm publishing an article called "freedom overload" in http://www.collegebound.net in the fall.

FROM MY EDITOR: As pitched, new college students are often overwhelmed by the amount of freedom they have for the first time in their lives. Share interesting real student stories of how too much of a good thing turned bad, and what they had to do to get back on track. Find specific anecdotes -- maybe a student who actually had to go back home after one semester, or a student who was "saved" by his/her school's student center or RA -- followed by some great expert advice on how to balance newfound freedom with responsibility, and/or what resources colleges have to help students adjust. Please include student photos.

I'm looking for anyone who overloaded on freedom and had to get their act together, or even wound up getting kicked out of school.
1. How did it affect them?
2. Did they get their act together and how?
3. What advice do they have for other students?
4. What are the good and bad points of having more freedom at school? What can students do to enjoy it but not lose themselves?

If anyone can help, please email me at jerseygal526@yahoo.com with answers to the above questions. Include your name, age, school attended and attach a 300dpi headshot. I will confirm with you before anything is published.

Thanks!!!
