So I broke my finger....again. Its not as bad as last time though (ie no pins or sugery needed) but it did reopen my last break in the form of a hairline fracture and a chipped knuckle - and all the sprained ligaments that go along with that kind of thing. But because of its placement there is nothing they can really do except put it in a finger/wrist splint which makes it akward to draw (and type) but ill deal. It amuses me that everytime I go in for a broken finger the hospitals first reaction is to magle it and twist it around in so many fun and painful ways...and then they look at me like "oh - you're not faking - maybe we SHOULD take a look at it) They want me to make an appointment wit hthe hand surgeon on call within five days in order to make sure its okay and all that becuase they had concerns with how poorly the last break healed that maybe this one will heal badly as well thereby leaving it open for breakage again. sigh.
We shall see how drawing turns out with this thing on...although it shouldn;t be too much of a problem *crosses fingers*.
