Jeremiah 29:11
This is one of those things every Christian knows deep down...but needs a reminder of on a regular basis (at least I know I do).
Recently (while I was in the shower), it came to me again...a reminder of God's love for me...specifically me...specific to each person who accepts His love.
How does this look?
Well do you remember the times when you were going through that tough time and came to some realizations about yourself and/or the other person? He orchestrated that for your growth!
Remember the time you were so excited and didn't feel like you deserved something good in your life? He orchestrated that for your joy!
Remember the time you wanted something so bad and didn't get it? or did get it? what about those things you prayed for? the times you learned something new? the times that matured you? the things that you miss? the memories that make you the person you are today?
He orchestrated that. Even the things that don't make sense right now, are part of a plan in motion in which God is working. He LOVES you...not just that sappy lovey dovey stuff, but seriously loves you...as in wants the best for you, wants you to be better than who you are, wants you to grow and be filled with joy, relying on Him.
He loves you specifically...if you've ever felt someone love you in such a way that you were the only person in the world that mattered to them (easy for me to say as an only child), that kind of focussed love is the kind of love he pours down on us. He can do that for each person without taking away from His love for another because he is infinite. There is no limitation on how much He can love us.
I think back and take comfort in this...in this kind of love from my God. He has a plan for me...to prosper me, to give me a hope, to give me a future. The same is true for you, reader. He has a plan specifically for you, to prosper specifically you...to give YOU a hope and a future designed...just...for...you.
