Ok well...back to the old standby then. Blogger didn't quite work out as well as I'd hoped...perhaps if it matures a little more.
Things have been going well since my last post (which was a bit ago). Car's running well...getting ready for the winter. I've been enjoying the time I'm spending with friends, making new ones, reacquainting with some old ones. Not a ton of exciting news to report...
Oh, I suppose there's one little thing...going to Maui next week. That'll be fun. There's no real major plan...just relax, enjoy the beach, sightsee...scuba diving was a thought as well. I'm going to love it!
On a more personal scale, I've just felt more laid back the past few weeks. It's nice! Not much to worry about, no real major concerns...I feel content. :) Sure friends from a certain group seem in a habit of asking me if I have my eyes set on anybody...and it's nice to honestly say, "No". No real rush for any of that. I'm enjoying friends of both sexes...having fun in general. Flirting, teasing, joking, laughing...and all without any worry of anything more or beneath the surface.
I honestly think that the time I've taken to just realign myself and remove distractions has helped me refocus on the things that are really important and not to sweat the other stuff as much. I likely burned a few bridges in the process...not sure how burnt they are though...haven't really looked back. Which is strangely uncharacteristic of me...I think it's probably something to do with the lack of dissatisfaction of what is ahead...it's a mystery but I have the feeling it's going to be wonderful. I figure God will take care of whatever's past if anything needs taking care of.
Oh, also in the uncharacteristic part...this is not friend-locked or anything. I am back to the place where I don't really care what is seen...I am what I am (kudos to the person who can place that quote) and it's where I am until God nudges me along any other direction.
Life is good...even through the struggles, God is working and that is exciting to see, who knows what's coming down the pike next.
EDIT: yeah...started unlocking earlier stuff...and remembered why I never did that in the past. So much work...where's the mass change button? :P
