Apple Core
So i have been putting this off for a while, but since I am sitting in my room on a lazy monday i figure i can write to occupy my time.
So after the last show I went to in march I realized that Im tired of going to shows. Well i wouldnt be if the kids that go didnt suck so much. I mean honestly the black hair girl pants thing was funny for the first year it started but fashion-core is lame. I dont like trying to dance and having some fat metal kid jack me in the face because he wants to start a push pit. Honestly...that kids needs a beat down. Im also tired of not being able to wear a band shirt without some jackass going, "oh yea i loved them before their mainstream cd came out." Guess what douche...most likely i did too. If i didnt then i like them now who cares?!
Its cool that a band makes it big and all but can't we limit the type of people that can come to shows? What happened to the crowds that would see dri and 25 ta life? WE need that back. Screw scenesters...a term that didnt come around until fashion core did.
When did it all change? One minute im in highschool where no one had crappy black hair except the dirty goth kids. The only people who wore girl pants were girls...or the really gay dudes. Everyone got along and crews werent trendy.
Unless the shows to come are reunion shows or bands i havent had the chance to see yet you probably won't see me there. So sorry folks but enough is enough.
