So, I love the widow business in Priest, that's a nice touch. Even in things that are changed (Turpin/Anthony, The Contest, Todd/Beadle), the meaning is still there. I doubt the average 25 year old horror movie customer would know what a pomade is, anyhow.
G and I are talking about watching it for the movie it is, not the musical we've loved for almost 20 years (more for him). The only thing that's sticking to us right now, is the snap-open-to-90-degrees razor thing -- you can't shave with that.
I am loving that the musical that was written and scored as a horror movie has become a musical horror movie. There is some balance to that.
