I was walking back to work from lunch a few weeks back, and was feeling happy & satisfied with the Subway sandwich I had eaten. The sky was drizzling lightly as I crossed the parking lot, and suddenly a gi-normous belch escaped from my innards. A split-second later a large drop of rain plopped on my forehead, as if God was scolding me for my lack of manners.

"Pardon me," I whispered. "Sorry." And I giggled softly.
