Where are all my Clark lovers?!

You know, I love Lex as much as the next Lex-lover, but I'm kind of sick of all the Clark-hate going on in fandom lately, so I'm calling all my Clark lovers to have a conversation with me right here in this post.

Oh and I meant to add that I agree with you. Clark is the hero, like it or not, complain all you want, doesn't change a thing.

YES! And people have to remember that all the people that know his secret, he didn't just tell them because he trusted them--they found out on their own. Hell, he really only told one person and that was just because Pete found the spaceship. His own parents didn't even tell him until he was 14 and his stuck his arm in a woodchipper! So if his own parents won't tell him for the 11 years they knew him, how is he supposed to just up and tell someone he only knew for a few months? And after everything that Lex did (underhandedly) to find out Clark's secret, I wouldn't feel comfortable telling him either. (I still love Lex, but seriously, let's be real)

Clark gets such a bad rap, you know? I know that sometimes he's made mistakes and done the wrong thing, but so has Lex! I don't hate Lex when he makes wrong choices, and I certainly can't hate Clark. I LOVE HIM SO MUCH.

OMG! This is exactly what I was trying to say. I need to edit my post now. I love them both equally. Not one more than the other or one in spite of the other. I've been on a Clark kick lately though from all the bashing. *pets my poor Clark*

Clark!!! I loves the Clark. I mean he's Clark: the well intentioned do good-er that saves smallville from itself DAILY. People can trash and hate and find flaws in him like every other character ever, but that just leaves it up to us to give him hugs.

I love Clark *and* Lex equally. The show wouldn't be the same if MR left. Clark without Lex is kinda like tortilla chips without salsa -- wholesome and plain, but in desperate need of something spicy.

When I see the Clark-hate and Lex-hate going around, I just scroll on by. Smallville may not always be brilliant, but it's my happy place, and ain't nothing going to harsh my buzz! :)

I am totally not hating on Lex *hugs my Lexy*, and I'm with you on the loving them equally. But I just needed to vent my frustration at the Clark bashing going around.

I probably wouldn't care so much about either character if they didn't have each other. It's the chemistry between the TW and MR that hooked me to the show, so I honestly probably wouldn't care if either of them were played by other actors. (Sure MR has chemistry with a broom, but it's only his chemistry with TW that I care about).
