Superman Anniversary Meme - Day 14
Day 14 - Your favorite Superman related movie.
Yes, I had to go animated on this one. This movie not only featured one of my favorite story arcs from one of my favorite comic book titles, but it had my second favorite OTP (after Clois, obvs, but they are my #1 slash OTP). Not only was it every bit as slashy as the comics, they somehow made it even MORE slashy at the end. Even if there was a smidgeon of Clois (which is always nice), the fact that Batman still offered up his own life to save Clark the world, it was also that Superman almost went batshit (no pun intended) on Lex when he thought Bruce was dead. WHAT MORE COULD I WANT BESIDES A LOIS/CLARK/BRUCE THREESOME?!?!?!

I just really REALLY enjoyed this and I've watched both movies several times already. Come to think of it, I need to reload them on my iPod so E and I can watch them on the tv at the hotel one night. I have an AV cable that hooks up the iPod to the tv. It's super cool and the quality of the iTunes downloads is actually better than DVD.
I actually really like all of the DC Animated movies that have come out, and I can't wait to see Under the Red Hood and Superman/Batman: Apocalypse. I look forward to these movies as much as I look forward to Comic Book Wednesdays and Smallville Fridays.
Anyway, if you haven't seen either of these, I suggest adding them to your netflix que.
