Please tell me someone else is reading this besides me? Because the only thing sexier than Kal-El using the moves that Batman taught him on an arrogant Kryptonian and totally pwning him is the fact that BATMAN TAUGHT SUPERMAN MARTIAL ARTS.

oksy, so yeah at first this Gor dude was kicking Supes' ass and was all "You ain't so tough, blahblahblah"
( I was taught hand-to-hand by Earth's greatest proponent )

Oh darn. After devotedly following Superman for five years (and collecting back over 30 years), I just tuned out at the New Krypton story line. It seemed such a let down from Brainiac and I hate all the paranoia. Now it looks like I'll have to go back. At least I'm only 2 months behind.

The New Krypton part of the story is over and now the kryptonians all live on "New Krypton" and Superman is hanging out there to help them adjust or whatever. Plus, this is a race of people where the only interaction he's had was Kara, Krypto, and Zod, so he wants to learn about his people.

But that one section just...I said "aww" and clutched my heart because what better way to honor Batman than to use his moves on a Kryptonian.

One of the best things about it was that it was unexpected. On one page, Clark is getting his ass handed to him, then I turn the page and he flipped the script! Not only that, but Clark was letting Gor beat him just so he can learn how he moves! Oh Clark, Bruce taught you so well!!!!

Man, the art for this is soooo awesome, Clark is gorgeousss *drools* And yeah! whoo! take that, Gor, Clark has been sparring with Bruce for years, no way you're gonna beat him hand to hand!

I know!! DC has been really good about putting good artists on the Superman books lately, but then again, the Superman books have been good for, like, three years straight. But THIS make my heart skip because it was so bittersweet for Kal to make an "obscure" reference, and of course WE know who he's talking about. Seriously, how much more evidence is needed that Clark and Bruce were totally BFF?
