Game Idea: Robin Hood Remake

Game Idea: Robin Hood reimagining, set in the modern day, or in a near-future setting.

Prince John (though John Prince might be a better character name for the times) might be the head, or soon-to-be head, of a powerful corporation. The company may act in unethical, but often entirely legal, ways. Robin Hood has it out for the company, which screwed him in some way, and he breaks the law in order to fight back against the company, and perhaps because of a heroic bent.

Sheriff of Nottingham represents the local law enforcement. He might be corrupt in this position, and in John Prince's pocket, or he might be more independent of Prince, and after Robin Hood mostly just for breaking the law, but equally inclined to go after John Prince if presented with evidence of wrong-doing. Depends on what we want for the story.

Game Focus: It might be fun to do infiltration-focused game for this. I imagine Robin Hood as mostly winning by cleverness, but with some fun sword fights thrown in for excitement, but not as the focus.

PCs take the role of Robin or other supporting characters. Players would have to be free to reinterpret the characters as they see fit, based on what is interesting to them. Expect that different players would come to the table with different ideas about the characters, and different expectations of the stories to be told, because of all the various sources of Robin Hood stories, both mythlogical and media. As such, would have to be careful not to value any particular source over others. Stories would have to be helpful guidelines, but not restrictions. Discussion about expectations would be important, but they always are.

Canidate systems: Tactical combat seems like it would be out, so the most complex I'd probably want to go is cinematic-modded Savage Worlds.  Evil Hat-style Fate would keep things light, lend a character focus, and has lots of support for non-combatants. This might also be an interesting idea for Leverage, if we focus on the infiltration angle.
