One evening, not long after Gabe's intervention, one shadow darted across Gabe's lawn followed by three smaller ones; the lead with a small duffel bag over one shoulder, and all of them carting sprinklers - between the four of them, they probably had a good percentage of Gabe's lawn sprinklers. They were quiet, they were ninja... Well, as ninja as a stealthy teenager could be while tailed by three little kids with loads.
There was a halt called at the edge of the park while the instigator scanned the area with binoculars to make sure the end target would be none the wiser. Then, on a signal, one of the smaller shadows scrambled up a tree with the binoculars handed off to her, keeping watch while the other three spread out with extension cords, hoses, lights, small mirrors, and sprinklers, rigging up a nice patch of the garden and covering their tracks with shrubbery, Kaito carefully showing them how to set things up without much noise, how to cover tracks and avoid traces, and generally avoid getting caught for their shenanigans.
And then, they hid to wait - and Kaito soon found himself with three small things dropping off asleep on him from their blind, with some whining about how boring the waiting was.
In the morning, when a certain clown-bedecked troll was seen on the lawn, kidlets would be nudged awake, their handiwork would be set off - and that lawn of the park would become very wet and full of rainbows. (Also soaking anyone else with Gamzee at the time...)
