In between staring contests with the odd reptile perched on Sanibel's head, Rose mused on the contents of a number of grimoires she'd discovered or alchemized over the course of her time in the Land of Light and Rain. Planar maps and advanced magical theory and even old legends crawled through her mind, none bringing her any closer to knowing where she was.
Rose's quiet contemplation went completely unnoticed by her companion: Sanibel was content to simply stare at the silently cavorting sea creatures until a commercial break happened. At that point she turned to Rose, ebulliently crowing about these new wonders; Rose's lips tightened and she slowly shifted her gaze to the corners of her eyes. "I probably wouldn't have pegged you for a Spongebob Squarepants fan even if the thought had occurred to me."

A completely vacant expression takes over Sanibel's face. It was almost like Rose was speaking another language to her. She doesn't even know what a TV is, much less things like TV shows... she's gotta take baby steps. She turns around and holds up one finger, sticking her teeth out over her bottom lip as she tries to find words to describe what she'd seen.
"Lookit them movin' pitchurbox things! You ever seen anythin' like that before? Do they got li'l goblins in suits livin' in 'em, you think? Whatever it is it makes me wanna smoke up an' look at 'em a while."
