I've discovered the secret to eating only as much as the body requires: seek out (healthy) things that only appeal when you're really hungry- things that you find mildly unpleasant normally. As soon as the real need for food is satisfied, your palate will realize how not enjoyable eating has become, and you stop far before you would if the food was delicious.
I'm a damn genius. It may be masochistic and culturally obtuse, but Falafels may prove to be my miracle food.
The only question is how long this seeking-out of slightly repugnant (to me) foods can continue before it drives me to slow and twisted madness.
