(no subject)
So I realized that I haven't posted anything here in a while. ...A long while. Basically, there have been a lot of small increments of busy, but no major catastrophes.
I was recently able to get one foster cat spayed and three neutered, which was a relief. Loz made surprise kittens - only two of them, which was why I didn't realize she was pregnant - which her (now-spayed) sister Kadaj is helping to care for. (Honestly Yazoo would probably be in the crate with 'em too if he was confined to the Bedroom of Intact Male Cats.) The two silver-point kittens, a boy and a girl, are respectively named Velvet and Nightmare - if you get the reference, you're a dork and I love you.
I need to get my hair cut for Fanime, since it would save me the expense of buying a wig for my cosplay. Also, do any of you speak very mild hair-bleaching? I only need to lighten my hair a little bit and rough it up enough to take the dye. It needs a very slight red tint.
I'm co-writing a Death Note fic with starherd! ...Which, uh, basically means that she's streamlining our massive Light/L roleplay into something cohesive enough to post. XD If anyone's interested in reading what we've got so far (two chapters), lemme know.
Oh - Meg, Host, next time you're here, I found a very large dead jumping spider that would make for good pictures. I hadn't realized they had such big fangs until I got a look at this one while I was drying it off (it drowned in the cats' water bowl). They look at least a millimeter long! (Will that stop me from picking up live jumping spiders and letting them crawl all over my hands? Hell no.)
