Update re: storm, Mai
Storm's over; power did not go out. Naturally all the lightning was gone before it got dark. :/
It's been 14 hours since Mai went into labor, and still no kittens. I'd be more worried, except cats do have some limited control over their labor (they can start and stop for a bit if they're stressed), and she's not straining or vocalizing. She's eating, even. Nothing to do for now but keep an eye on her.
And now, since I have to be up to check on her every few hours, I'mma watch me some Death Note.
