Day 25 → Your day, in great detail
A somewhat eventful day actually!
I woke up early to watch the world cup, and the US won against Algeria in a crazy-exciting match, making them the top team in their group and moving them on to play Ghana (I think) in the next round. USA ALL THE WAY (the world cup is about the most patriotic I get). Then I did something I'm ashamed of, so I'm not posting about it! (so why mention it? I dunno, just trying for 'great detail'.) I also watched most of the Germany-Ghana match; Germany is over-rated.
I then went with kirayukari to the DMV and she passed the test to get her drivers license renewed. Woo!
And while on our way to a restaurant for lunch, I got a call from 2K Marin offering me a job as a user-interface programmer (for now working on the game X-COM). I accepted, so now I'll be working as a professional game developer up in Novato starting next month. I'm excited!
The restaurant was closed for the between-dinner-and-lunch-gap, which was a bummer, but we just went somewhere else instead.
Then we finished watching season 6 of House, which had a very sad/happy ending.
We borrowed some books from crescentlupin9 and chatted with her, getting milk tea on the way.
Finally, I posted a detailed description of my day!
