Wow! It sure has been a long time since I have updated my livejournal. Well, I am still working at WMBS. I have been having a lot of fun doing the remotes and I have 2 Fayette County Fair remotes plus an Italian Festival remote that looks like they are going to be a lot of fun.

For about three weeks now Kev and I have been Volunteering at the Fayette Friends of Animals, a no-kill shelter. I have been having a blast. We get to walk the little dogs and the big dogs (who can sometimes be difficult, i.e almost losing my hand to "chewie") and cleaning and cuddling the puppies. I am so glad that I have the opportunity to work with such great people and to do something I am very passionate about.

Speaking of volunteering, Kev and I volunteered at our local Boarders to help do crafts with the kids at the Midnight Harry Potter Party. The day of the party Kev and I were buying a video game strategy guide and we started talking to one of the check out guys and he said that if we wanted to come and help with the crafts and magic tricks we could. Plus, he said he would throw in some free books. So we ended up doing it and I had so much fun!!! The kids were both excited and adorable. I was making paper Wizard hats and kev was making disappearing ink. I know we were both glad we did the party.

The next day was a day I have been waiting for for over 284 days: I went to see Charlie and the Chocolate Factory in IMAX!!!!! Abosolutly amazing!!! Johnny Depp was so huge on the screen I could see his contact lenses. The movie was even better than the orginal and if you know me I am a die-hard fan of the orginal. Kev and I are probably going to go and see it again this up comming Sunday.

Well, what is on tap next is I have to work tonight and tomorrow morning and then Annie is comming down to stay for the Musical in Waynesburg: Cinderella and we are going to see that and see Alicia and Andy do a kick ass job.

Well, that is all for now. But, for your enjoyment I have enclosed a picture of one of my friends at the Shelter. His name is Puppy and one of his favorite activites is to run around dragging the cinderblock he is chained to.
